The party's over! It was lots of fun, but we missed some good friends that have moved back overseas or were traveling for the holidays.
These were two of my favorites things:The little red sled was made by a friend's husband, who's a set designer. It was so cute, and I had fun driving it around on the roof of the car.
And, the little cardboard village. A huge hit with the kids. Looking at it now, I see lots of things that could be improved (the blue tape holding them down, more snow puffs, etc.)
After making 8 of these I've determined that the best thing to use are the cardboard wardrobe boxes. At least for older kids, they're sturdier and hold up better to a bit of abuse.
